This April we held a webinar where Barry Baker and Jadene Waddell from Grant Thornton NZ shared their learnings as well as practical advice around improving financial systems in not-for-profits and on how to handle their particular challenges like reporting, audits and limited funding.
The attendees learned what the key points of a typical NFP process are and why they require special attention and accuracy. They also found out about the three elements of a successful finance system and how to approach them correctly in order to succeed. Additionally, we covered how automation enables efficiency and seamless processes that become the basis for a smoothly running finance system. Finally, a recommended product stack was introduced and illustrated by real-life case studies.
